Free Beach Wheelchair hire at the Normanville Surf Life Saving Club
Did you know that the NSLSC supports beach access for all through its free hire of beach wheelchairs?
We have two beach wheelchairs available, in child and adult sizes.
The beach wheelchairs provide and improve access to Normanville beach and are available during patrol hours, and at other times by arrangement.
People looking to hire a beach wheelchair need to:
- sign a hire and indemnity form
- only use the beach wheelchair on the area between the flags as patrolled by the Surf Life Saving Club
- ensure carers assist in using the beach wheelchair

Pictured below is Val and her family who used our beach wheelchair yesterday to cool off while enjoying a day out at the beach.
Val is an OAM and received her Order of Australia medal for her lifetime services to providing mobility services to children living with a disability. To see her benefit from a device to assist those with limited mobility made it very special for her family.
