Carri to Club Swim, Walk or Run

The Club’s annual Long Swim expands into a new format for 2023, and receives a new name – ‘The Carri’ to Club’.
A 4km run or walk option has been added to the traditional 400m, 1k, 2k and 4k swim for the first time, opening up this great event to more participants than ever before.
Event scheduling has also been shifted to early January to take advantage of the many visitors from around South Australia and interstate who travel to the Fleurieu Peninsula at this time of the year.
The longer-term aim is to build the Carri’ to Club into a major annual fundraiser for the Normanville Surf Lifesaving Club.
The Carri’ to Club is on Saturday 7 January.
Event start times
4km swim, walk and run
- 10am, from the beach at the Carri south car park
2km swim
- 11am, from just north of the Carri creek, best access is from the southernmost stairs at Carri.
1km swim
- 11.30am from the marker on the beach
400m swim
- 11.45am from the marker on the beach.
Event Registration
Registrations are available from 9am on the day at the Carri’ to Club HQ located on the beach next to the Normanville jetty.
Entry is via a donation to the Normanville Surf Lifesaving Club Building Fund – cash and card payments are available on the day.
