Our Club is Your Club
Surf Life Saving Clubs are at the heart of many communities across Australia including right here in Normanville.
Volunteer surf lifesavers will patrol the 8km of beach from Carrickalinga to Lady Bay on every weekend and public holiday from November until Easter Monday.
With beaches expected to be busier than ever this summer, we need more volunteers in a range of roles. You don’t have to be 6-feet tall. You don’t have to get up every morning and train. You don’t even have to get your toes wet.
“There are many opportunities within Surf Life Saving for people of varied ages and abilities to become involved and contribute to the patrolling and behind the scenes capability of Surf Life Saving, not all of which involve donning the red and yellow. At any age you could be an official, athlete, coach, fundraiser, junior activities supervisor, trainer and assessor, rescue boat driver, radio operator, committee member, or BBQ chef, “ said SLSSA President John Baker.
